Mrs. Spires’ students enjoyed being back together today! They read the book “Scribble Stones” and discussed ways they can show kindness and inspire others through simple acts. Then, they painted their own unique stone as a reminder to always strive to spread joy to those around them.

It’s always a great day in music class when the parachute comes out!
Students have been enjoying using the parachute to explore movement and rhythm in fun, engaging ways. Whether we're lifting it high to the beat of a song, creating waves in sync with the music, or moving in circles, every movement connects their bodies to sound.

Second graders' book of the week was "The Salamander Room"! They also read a non-fiction salamander book and learned about text features! They practiced using adjectives and descriptive language in our writing!

Kindergarten gathered, sliced, and squeezed lemons to make lemonade after reading the story "When Grandma Gives You a Lemon Tree."

Friday was a great day to create pizza! PGE ACES classes rolled up their sleeves and got creative today making pizza pies! By working together, they were able to create some tasty results to end the week! Mr. Swilley enjoyed some also.
